Resource Planning Specialist

As a Resource Planning Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing the deployment of resources, optimizing utilization, and ensuring seamless coordination between onshore and offshore teams. You will work closely with senior leadership to forecast and allocate resources efficiently, driving operational excellence and ensuring project success.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the end-to-end resource planning and allocation process for multiple projects.
• Ensuring optimal resource utilization and minimizing bench time through effective management strategies.
• Collaborating with project managers and senior leaders to understand resource needs and business priorities.
• Coordinating with onshore and offshore teams to maintain project continuity and efficient staffing.
• Monitoring resource performance, identifying gaps, and addressing issues to ensure outcome-based results.
• Preparing and presenting resource reports using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Facilitating communication between teams to ensure alignment with business goals and project timelines.
• Managing the resource lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and transitioning resources as needed.

• Bachelor s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in resource management within the IT consulting industry.
• Strong understanding of resource management concepts, including utilization and bench management.
• Knowledge of IT consulting business operations and the onshore-offshore delivery model.
• Proven ability to manage resources across multiple projects and priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
• Strong leadership, follow-through, and outcome-based performance management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work flexibly across different time zones and adapt to varying work hours.
