Job Description
Centre for Effective Governance of India States (CEGIS) is seeking an experienced Resource Manager to join our team urgently. The ideal candidate will bring 7-8 years of professional experience, operating at a managerial level, and possessing a track record of instituting robust systems for monitoring skills, staffing, and resource allocation. This role requires a proactive individual with expertise in optimising resources to align with project requirements, ensuring the efficient utilisation of personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement institutionalised systems for tracking skills and staffing resources.
- Create streamlined mechanisms for monitoring projects and resource utilisation to optimise individuals abilities according to project demands.
- Collaborate with project managers and team leads to facilitate resource roll-on and roll-off, allocating resources based on project priority and needs.
- Utilise time and material management skills to maintain data on excel to identify resourcing needs and forecast manpower requirements aligned with employee staffing and project pipeline.
- Engage with employees to understand their career aspirations, mapping or suggesting projects that align with their strengths, fostering growth opportunities.
- Manage and maintain an organisational database of available skills and expertise, facilitating informed decisions on resource allocation.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in HR or equivalent field from an institute of repute.
- 7-8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a project-driven environment.
- Proven experience in implementing systems for skills tracking and resource allocation.
- Proficiency in advanced excel to forecast and manage resourcing needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with employees and project stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to strategize and align resources with project demands to optimize team performance.
