Database Administrator

We are seeking a Database Administrator with 4 to 6 years of experience in RDBMS administration and a strong background in relational database technologies.

• Perform advanced troubleshooting in collaboration with other teams and third- party vendors, focusing on query/schema optimizations and backend database fine-tuning.
• Take ownership of database and server management.
• Monitor database backups to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Handle Windows/SQL server patching and general database administration tasks.
• Engage in system administration tasks and continuous learning.
• Participate in the on-call rotations.

• Proven experience in database administration with RDBMS, preferably SQL/ PostgreSQL.
• Proficient in backup administration and recovery strategies.
• Hands-on experience with database monitoring and disaster recovery processes.
• Familiarity with Windows/SQL server patching is highly desirable.
• Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills, with an innovative approach.
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible/PowerShell.
• Familiarity with Docker/Containerization technologies.
• Experience with Gitlab CI/CD deployments.

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Kafka, Clickhouse, Cassandra) is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.

• Minimum of a Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field.
