Assistant Manager - IT

Role Description

The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of SAP FICO modules to streamline financial operations and ensure regulatory compliance. The role includes handling financial processes, managing master data, addressing tax and compliance requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet organizational objectives.

Role & responsibilities

• Configuration of global settings and enterprise structure (e.g., new company code creation).
• Configuration of SAP FICO modules, including Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), Asset Accounting, and Banking.
• Support the setup of global settings, enterprise structures, profit centers, cost centers, and cash book configurations.
• Maintain and update vendor, customer, and bank master data, resolving payment-related blocks/ unblocks.
• Assist in configuring withholding tax, industry keys, and tax codes.
• Create HSN/SAC masters and manage TCS & Compensation setup.
• Ensure timely GST return filings, reconciliations, and invoice processing compliance with TCS/ TDS regulations.
• Support asset class configuration, depreciation key setup, and scrap value adjustments.
• Monitor monthly depreciation processes and assist in year-end financial closing activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement FICO solutions aligned with business objectives.

Provide support for SAP APP functionality and module integration with other SAP systems.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proficiency in SAP FICO module setup and operations.
