National Manager - Business Legal - BFS (15-25 yrs)

The incumbent will lead the legal function for the Retail Business segment of the organization, ensuring that all legal matters related to the retail and SME portfolios are effectively managed. This role involves handling loan agreements, policies and process setting, vendor management, dispute resolution, regulatory compliance, risk management, security creation across different states, managing legal team in regions and providing legal support to business teams to drive strategic growth and mitigate risks.

Skills & Competencies:

- In-depth knowledge of NBFC regulations, retail lending, and financial services laws.

- Strong negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.

- Experience in handling litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.

Qualification & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in law (LLB) is required; a master's degree in law (LLM) or a related field is preferred.

- Minimum of 15+ years of experience in similar role within the financial services industry, preferably in NBFCs or banks.

- Proven track record of successfully managing large teams, legal and regulatory compliance for retail businesses.
