DevOps Engineer - AWS Cloud Services (2-4 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Lead small-medium scale projects independently, with feature evaluation, POC, project planning, and execution.

- Handle end-to-end ownership of some areas within the team and coordinate with other development teams if required.

- Show responsibility in handling critical production issues, if needed, respond and support troubleshooting of issues during nights and weekends.

- Assist the developers and on calls for other teams with an RCA/postmortem, follow-up, and review of issues affecting production availability.

Requirements :

- 2+ years of experience installing, configuring, and managing Linux systems.

- Good Hands-on experience with AWS.

Linux/Unix :

- Writing shell scripts and knows Linux commands.

- Experience with Python for automation.

IT Infrastructure :

- Setting up Tools, Servers, and Databases for application deployment, monitoring, and operations.

- Knowledge of setting up a distributed system like Kafka, Solr, Cloud, and Aerospike.

Build process :

- Jenkins and other build and deployment tools.

Servers :

- Web/App Servers and Database (MySQL).

IaaC Tools :

- GIT, Terraform, Ansible.

- Good Knowledge of Docker, and Kubernetes and should have handled self-managed or Cloud provider-based K8s clusters.

- Knowledge of tools like New Relic and log management tools.

- Good knowledge of troubleshooting and handling S1 issue calls.

- Excellent communication and strong application troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
