Stores Officer / Manager

Work Location : Chikkanayakanahalli, Tumkur, Karnataka

Preferred : Candidate experienced only in Roads, Highways and Irrigations etc.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage stores operations, including GRN, inventory control, and stock management.
  
• Oversee store planning, maintenance, and supervision to ensure efficient use of resources.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols during store operations.
  
• Coordinate with procurement department for materials and equipment.
  
• Monitor stock levels and optimize storage capacity to minimize waste.
• Develop ideal warehouse layout and item cataloguing process.
• Responsible for leading and organizing quarterly and annual stock.
• Maintain stores cleanliness and health and safety measures.
• Track and account for all incoming and outgoing goods.
• Interface with all departments to ensure proper inventory levels of required material whilst keeping inventory holding to a minimum and report the status of warehousing activities to the management as and when required.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 6-9 years of experience in a similar role (Stores manager) with roads and highway experience
  
• Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. degree in Mechanical or Civil field.
  
• Strong knowledge of GRN, inventory control, store operations, store planning, stores maintenance, and inventory management principles.
• Strong communication with supervision skills.
• Languages : English, Kannada, Hindi and Telugu
