Desktop Support Engineer-L1

To provide first level support on Desktop, OS and hardware adhering to SLA defined.

Job tasks & responsibilities:

1. Installation, maintaining and attending day-to-day users problem calls
2. Installation and updating of Desktop operating system and other software
3. Install, Configure & maintain e-mail clients
4. Troubleshooting of operating systems (Windows XP, Windows 7 etc.)
5. Troubleshoot & Resolve Operating System issues.
6. Troubleshoot & Resolve any client level application.
7. Testing of computers and ensuring that computer systems are functioning properly.
8. Physical setting up of computers and software system installation for various computer applications and programs
9. Remote Software/Desktop troubleshooting
10. Support on windows networking (wired and wireless)
11. File and printer sharing services.
12. Client level Antivirus and troubleshooting
13. Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of printers, scanner and peripheral devices.
14. Daily monitoring of devices such as printers etc., as per checklists.

Job Specification:

1. Qualification :Under Graduate/Graduate or any Technical Degree/Diploma
2. Certifications : MCP/MCSA/MCSE
3. Experience : Minimum relevant experience of 12 months
4. Communication Skills: Should be able to understand and write correct English

Supervision: L2 Engineer/Site In charge /Helpdesk Manager

Working Environment: 24*7, 9 hours /day, 6 days in a week
