Fusion Practices - Oracle Technical Consultant - PL-SQL/Apex (3-6 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Oracle applications.

- Design, develop, and implement robust and efficient PL/SQL code to automate business processes, manipulate data, and enhance application functionality.

- Develop user-friendly and interactive web applications using Oracle Apex, adhering to best practices and accessibility standards.

- Leverage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services (e.g., Oracle Database Service, Oracle Cloud Functions) to deploy and manage Oracle applications in a scalable and secure cloud environment.

- Configure and manage Oracle security features to ensure data integrity and application access control.

- Perform thorough testing to ensure the quality, functionality, and performance of developed Oracle applications.

- Document technical specifications, code, and configurations for future reference and knowledge sharing.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Oracle technologies (PL/SQL, Apex, OCI) and emerging cloud best practices.

Technical Skills (Must-Have) :

- 3+ years of experience developing Oracle applications using PL/SQL and Oracle Apex.

- Strong understanding of Oracle database concepts (schemas, tables, triggers, procedures, functions).

- In-depth knowledge of PL/SQL programming language, including object-oriented concepts and exception handling.

- Proficiency in developing user interfaces and web applications using Oracle Apex.

- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services for deploying and managing Oracle applications (e.g., Oracle Database Service, Oracle Cloud Functions).

- Experience with Oracle security best practices and access control mechanisms.

- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Technical Skills (Good to Have) :

- Experience with Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) for building RESTful APIs is a plus.

- Experience with DevOps practices for Oracle deployments (e.g., CI/CD) is a plus.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
