Job Description

Position Overview:

As a Sales Associate / Field Sales Executive at Furnishka, you will play a vital role in driving sales and providing outstanding customer service, both in-store and in the field. You will work closely with the Store Manager and the team to achieve sales targets, assist customers with furniture and home decor selections, and contribute to building strong customer relationships. Whether youre engaging with customers in-store or through door-to-door visits, your mission is to ensure a positive shopping experience and enhance our brand's presence in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Assistance & Sales:
    • Assist customers in selecting and purchasing furniture and home decor items, both in-store and through field visits.
    • Provide detailed product knowledge, recommendations, and guidance to meet customer needs.
    • Conduct sales presentations and demonstrate product features to potential customers, showcasing how our products will enhance their homes.
  • Sales Target Achievement:
    • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets, both in-store and through field sales, by closing deals and maximizing revenue opportunities.
    • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure sales goals are met and customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with both in-store and field customers to ensure repeat business and referrals.
    • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Store & Field Operations:
    • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including managing merchandise displays and inventory.
    • Regularly visit potential customers through cold calling, door-to-door visits, and networking to generate new business.
    • Collect and report customer feedback, market trends, and competitor activities to support sales strategy refinement.
  • Reporting & Administration:
    • Accurately process transactions using POS systems in-store.
    • Keep detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline updates in the CRM system.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in retail or the furniture industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with customers.
  • Energetic, friendly, and approachable with a passion for customer service.
  • Goal-oriented with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in both fast-paced store and field environments.
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory (for field sales).
