Store Manager - Retail Sales

Job Summary:

As a Store Manager at Furnishka, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring a positive customer experience, driving sales, managing inventory, and leading a team to meet company objectives. You will ensure that the store operates efficiently, aligns with brand standards, and maintains an organized and inviting environment for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales & Customer Experience:
• Achieve and exceed sales targets by implementing effective sales strategies.
• Foster a customer-centric culture, ensuring exceptional service and experience for each visitor.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Team Leadership & Development:
• Lead, motivate, and train store staff to achieve individual and team goals.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Schedule and manage staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
• Inventory & Store Operations:
• Maintain inventory levels, oversee stock replenishment, and perform regular stock audits.
• Ensure the store is well-organized, clean, and visually appealing.
• Monitor the stores expenses, ensuring costs are managed while maintaining quality service.
• Brand & Product Knowledge:
• Ensure that staff members are well-versed in the companys product offerings and brand ethos.
• Stay up to date on new product lines, promotions, and store campaigns.
• Ensure the store displays align with brand guidelines and standards.
• Financial Management:
• Oversee daily cash handling, including registering sales, processing returns, and managing cash deposits.
• Prepare and track store budgets, managing expenses and operating costs efficiently.
• Work with management to develop and implement strategies to increase profitability.
• Reporting & Administration:
• Generate reports on sales, inventory, and staffing, providing actionable insights to senior management.
• Ensure all store-related administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar retail leadership role.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Good knowledge of inventory management and retail operations.
• Ability to analyze data and implement strategies for growth.
• Proficient in MS Office or similar software; experience with retail management software is a plus.
• Passion for home decor and furniture retail is a bonus.
