Requirement: Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010/2013, Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010/2013, OnPrem Exchange Server
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities: Exchange Server Administration: Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Exchange Server environments (on-premises or hybrid).Monitor server performance, availability, and email flow. Ensure the availability, scalability, and reliability of Exchange environments. Perform server upgrades, patch management, and troubleshooting. Configure and manage Exchange server components such as databases, mailboxes, transport agents, and connectors. Public Folder Administration: Manage and configure public folders in the Exchange environment, including creating, maintaining, and securing public folders.Set and enforce permissions for access to public folders.Perform migration of public folders from legacy systems to newer Exchange versions.Troubleshoot public folder replication, availability, and access issues.Manage distribution groups and ensure proper access controls for public folder resources.Email Security & Compliance:Implement and maintain email security protocols, including encryption, anti-spam, and anti-malware measures.Ensure compliance with email retention policies, archival, and disaster recovery plans.Configure and manage email policies, such as mailbox size limits, transport rules, and retention settings.Exchange Backup & Recovery:Plan and execute backup strategies for Exchange mailboxes and public folders.Implement disaster recovery procedures and regularly test backup restores.Resolve issues related to mail delivery, mailbox database integrity, and public folder recovery.User & Mailbox Management:Create, modify, and delete mailboxes and public folder mail-enabled objects.Assist with user profile configurations, including email signatures and Out-of-Office settings.Provide support for users encountering issues with accessing mailboxes, calendars, or public folders.Performance Monitoring & Reporting:Regularly monitor and report on Exchange server performance metrics.Perform proactive maintenance to avoid service disruptions and bottlenecks.Provide detailed reports to senior management regarding server health, usage, and capacity planning.Collaboration with IT Teams:Work with other IT teams, including network administrators, to integrate Exchange with other infrastructure and services (e.g., Active Directory, SharePoint, Teams).Provide training and support for end users to effectively use Exchange services and public folders
