AWS DevOps Engineer - Ansible/Terraform (4-8 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, systems administration, and CI/CD pipeline management. As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate closely with software developers, QA engineers, and IT staff to oversee the deployment, automation, and maintenance of critical systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Infrastructure Automation : Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

2. CI/CD Pipelines : Build and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software deployment.

3. Cloud Services : Deploy and manage cloud-based infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

4. Monitoring and Logging : Implement monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk) and ensure system reliability and performance.

5. Collaboration : Work closely with development and operations teams to improve system scalability, security, and performance.

6. Automation : Identify and automate repetitive tasks to improve system efficiency.

7. Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve technical issues in development, testing, and production environments.

8. Security : Ensure compliance with security best practices and implement solutions to safeguard sensitive data and systems.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).

- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.

- Familiarity with scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).

- Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Strong understanding of networking, system architecture, and security principles.
