Job Summary

This position will be handling supplier inspection as well as in house inspection activities ( incoming , stage wise & final inspection) of pump package and components. Coordination with TPI/Customer to carry out inspections as per approved ITP. Coordination of NDT & calibration activities with service provider. Maintaining Inspection Record.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of Package Stage wise inspection plan for shop floor activities.
• Review of WPS, PQR & WPQ
• Coordination & conducting Non-Destructive Testing for Casting & Welding components
• Preparation of Package Quality Dossier and get approved from customer.
• Preparation of various audits such as customer audit, Supplier audits, ISO 9001 audit & EHS audit. Liasoning with customer for plant approval process. Should be able to work on QMS requirements & its implementation
• Identifying gaps in good engineering practices and implementing corrective actions to maintain world class quality of Nash Products
• Visiting to customer place for technical discussion for concluding the issues during the project execution.
• Work with Engineering, Procurement and Operation team for on time and defect free supply of customer orders
• Handling post order customer site feedback on supplied material Quality Issues and work with Service and Engineering team for on time closure of customer feedbacks.
• Carry out shop inspection of various stages of Visual Dimension check, Hydro test, Mechanical Run Test, Performance Test, Blasting, Painting, Pickling/Passivation etc.
• Job offering to customer / TPI for test witness and dispatch clearance

Basic Qualifications

• Education - Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent with 6-7 years of Experience in Quality Assurance & Control of rotary equipment & skid fabrication organization for Oil & Gas & Power Plant Industry

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

• Fully at factory location, involves travelling to vendor/supplier places.

Key Competencies

• Certification in Non-Destructive Testing i. e. ASNT NDT level-II in VT, PT, RT, MT, UT etc.
• Certification in Welding Inspection CWI, IWE & Auditor certification in ISO 9001 will be an added advantage
• Experience about root cause analysis, corrective actions.
• Shall have prior experience of handling inspections of customer like GE, Technip, tKIS, IOCL, HPCL, BPCL, ONGC, LTHE, tKIS, EIL, NTPC, BHEL etc.
• Shall have experience of fabrication of material like SS, CS, Duplex Stainless Steel, Super Duplex SS
• Shall have experience of various welding processes such as GTAW, FCAW, SMAW etc.
• Shall have experience of inspection of components with requirements such as IGC, NACE, HIC etc
