Manager /Sr Manager/AGM Production Sports Bags

Role & responsibilities

• Planning and organising production schedules of Bag Production Lines as per Sales Indent and Business Plans.
• Having good knowledge of Gym Bag, Laptop Bags, Sports Bags, Cricket Bags, etc.
• Work closely with design team for product improvement and new innovations.
• Closely work with Head Operations to understand the customer order and lead the preparation of manpower planning on Bag Production Lines.
• Ensure production target has been achieved with Quality products and cost effective manner
• Assuring material/resources availability for uninterrupted production as per production Plan.
• Monitor the Production Status regularly and take corrective actions to ensure timely Production.
• Implement production process and system to improve efficacy of production team.
• Work continuously to make worker as multi task resource and can be optimized in lean period.
• Effective Workforce planning for optimum utilization of man-days.
• Planning and organising the repair and routine maintenance of production equipments.
• Implement Quality Related Tools in Bag Production and identifies key quality improvement priorities to minimise rejections and re-work.
• Supervise and monitor quality status on Bag Production Lines.
• Lead problem solving process in order to meet quality targets
• Oversee the Bag Production Lines supervisors and work force under them and ensure they all are well trained to make quality product.
• Enforcement and implementation of relevant section in the ISO and Quality Management System.
• Ensure everybody is wearing PPE and following the Health and Safety rules and regulations.
• Maintaining 5 S to keep working area neat and clean and to avoid accidents.
• Build harmonious and conducive working environment with zero tolerance for any unethical, indiscipline or unrest in Team
• Motivate, monitor and manage team in a high Growth environment
• Ensure everybody has defined KRAs and KPIs to provide better role clarity and performance measures
• Close monitoring of team performance and pro-actively design to enhance their productivity through Training & development
• Instilling company values & behaviors as demonstrated habits in the Team
