Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced General Manager - Wealth Tech to drive the growth of our wealth management and investment products. With 8-10 years of experience in business development, wealth tech, and investment management, you'll lead the launch, scaling, and expansion of wealth products. You'll focus on driving revenue growth, managing strategic partnerships, and growing assets under management (AUM) in a startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Business Growth : Lead the expansion of wealth tech and investment offerings, focusing on scaling from 0 to 1 and achieving business objectives.
Partnership Management : Establish and manage strategic partnerships with mutual fund houses, insurance providers, and other financial entities to expand product offerings.
Team Leadership : Lead a team in executing growth strategies, launching products, and ensuring seamless execution across the organization.
Revenue & AUM Growth : Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and assets under management (AUM) while improving user acquisition and retention.
KPI Monitoring : Track and optimize key business metrics including revenue, AUM, user acquisition, and repeat transactions.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience in wealth tech, investment management, or related business leadership roles in startups.
- Proven experience leading business growth from 0 to 1, with a focus on driving revenue and scaling new business initiatives.
- Strong background in partnership management and establishing relationships with financial entities.
- Deep understanding of wealth tech and investment business and a passion for driving impactful change.
- Strategic leadership experience, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and business performance.
Preferred Background:
- Experience in startups or high-growth environments, particularly in fintech or wealth management.
- Tier 1 college graduate (preferably MBA).
- Mandatory Pointers (Can't be Neglected During Screening):
- 8-10 years of experience in business development, wealth tech, or investment management in startups or high-growth environments.
- Proven experience in leading business growth from 0 to 1, with a focus on scaling and revenue growth.
- Strong skills in partnership management, especially with mutual funds, insurance, and other financial entities.
- Hands-on experience in wealth tech and investment business operations.
- Startup experience is a must; candidates from traditional financial institutions will not be considered.
- Tier 1 college graduate (preferably MBA).
- Strong track record in data-driven decision-making and managing AUM growth.
- We're seeking candidates with experience in wealth tech or investment products, preferably from dynamic fintech startups like Paytm, Policy Bazaar, or Insurance Dekho, not from established banks like SBI or ICICI.
