Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

The Lead - Compensation and Benefits will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent while ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness. This role requires a proactive leader who can analyse market trends, develop innovative compensation solutions, and effectively communicate benefits offerings to employees.

1) Compensation Strategy Development:

- Design and implement comprehensive compensation strategies that align with the overall business strategy.

- Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive salary structures and pay practices across all levels of the organization.

2) Benefits & Program Management:

- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.

- Evaluate existing benefits offerings and recommend enhancements based on employee feedback and industry best practices.

3) Job Evaluation and Salary Structure:

- Lead job evaluation processes to ensure accurate job classifications and equitable pay structures.

- Develop and maintain salary structures that reflect market competitiveness and internal equity.

4. Compliance and Reporting:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.

- Prepare and present reports on compensation and benefits metrics to senior leadership and stakeholders.

5. Employee Communication and Education:

- Develop effective communication strategies to educate employees about compensation and benefits programs.

- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding their compensation and benefits inquiries.

6. Data Analysis and Insights:

- Utilize HR analytics to assess the effectiveness of compensation and benefits programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.

- Monitor trends in compensation and benefits to identify opportunities for enhancement.

7. Collaboration with HR and Leadership:

- Partner with HR business partners and leadership to align compensation and benefits strategies with talent management and organizational goals.

- Support talent acquisition efforts by providing insights on competitive compensation packages.

8. Continuous Improvement:

- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to compensation and benefits.

- Continuously assess and improve compensation and benefits programs to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Must be Postgraduate with 7 + years experience in Compensation & Benefits
