SAP Basis Consultant with Azure Expertise

Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant with expertise in S/4HANA and familiarity with Microsoft Azure Infrastructure to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing SAP systems, implementing cloud solutions, and optimizing system performance. Certifications in SAP and Azure technologies are preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP Basis Administration :

- Install, upgrade, and optimize SAP systems, including S/4HANA, ECC, SAP NetWeaver (ABAP/JAVA), and other SAP products.

- Perform transport management, system monitoring, and user/rights management.

- Create and manage system and client copies while ensuring system integrity and performance.

Infrastructure Planning & Management :

- Plan, design, and build new SAP infrastructure to meet business requirements.

- Ensure optimal availability of SAP infrastructure, identifying and resolving performance issues.

Database & OS Expertise :

- Administer and maintain SAP HANA databases, including backups, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

- Basic knowledge of Oracle databases is an added advantage.

- Work on Linux and Windows operating systems for SAP deployments and maintenance.

Cloud Integration :

- Implement and support SAP workloads on Microsoft Azure infrastructure.

- Configure and manage SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Router, and other integration tools.

Support & Optimization:

- Provide technical support for SAP systems and resolve complex infrastructure issues.

- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery setups for SAP landscapes.

Mandatory Qualifications :

Experience :

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP technical support.

- Minimum 2 years of experience with S/4HANA 1909 and 3 months with S/4HANA 2020.

SAP Products Expertise :

- Proficiency with SAP NetWeaver ABAP/JAVA, SAP PI/PO, SAP IdM, SAP Fiori, SAP SolMan, SAP GRC, and others.

Technical Skills :

- Strong knowledge of SAP HANA administration.

- Familiarity with transport management and monitoring tools.

Preferred Certifications :

Microsoft Azure :

- Planning and Administering Microsoft Azure for SAP Workloads

- Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions

SAP :

- SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP HANA 2.0 SPS04

- Other relevant SAP certifications.
