Oracle Opera Developer - OPM Module (5-8 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Opera Developer with 57 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain solutions for Oracle Opera Property Management System (PMS). The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in customizing and integrating Oracle Opera modules, as well as experience in hotel property management or hospitality-related systems. The role requires a deep understanding of Opera PMS architecture, APIs, and database management, along with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize system performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and customize solutions within the Oracle Opera Property Management System to meet business requirements.

- Create and configure workflows, templates, and reports tailored to specific operational needs.

- Extend Opera functionality through custom scripts and configurations.

- Design and implement integrations between Oracle Opera and third-party applications (e.g.,

CRMs, payment gateways, booking engines).

- Utilize Opera APIs to enable seamless data exchange across systems.

- Perform regular system health checks, updates, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

- Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize disruptions.

- Optimize database performance and streamline system workflows.

- Work closely with stakeholders, including business teams, IT, and external vendors, to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

- Prepare comprehensive documentation for configurations, customizations, and integrations.

- Provide user training and support for Opera-related functionalities.

- Develop and execute test plans to validate customizations and integrations.

- Conduct system upgrades and regression testing to ensure compatibility and reliability.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 57 years of experience working with Oracle Opera PMS, including customizations and integrations.

- Proficiency in Opera database architecture, SQL, and PL/SQL programming.

- Experience with Opera APIs and data extraction methods.

- Familiarity with Oracle Hospitality interfaces like OXI, OWS, and OED.

- Strong understanding of hotel property management operations and workflows.

- Knowledge of hospitality systems and integrations, including channel managers and booking

engines.

- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver effective solutions.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

- Experience with Oracle Cloud solutions for Hospitality.

- Knowledge of middleware tools for integrations (e.g., Oracle SOA Suite, MuleSoft).

- Familiarity with BI tools for reporting and analytics.
