Job Description
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and extensive experience in automating tests GUI using Selenium, Playwright and API Testing using Rest-Assured.
They will be responsible for supporting product teams in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites for our applications, maintaining and upgrading Test frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver 4.x and associated tools
- Proficiency in two programming language, Java, TypeScript or JavaScript
- Experience with test automation frameworks like TestNG or Cucumber
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Github
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Test automation frameworks integration with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Tekton
- Extensive experience in designing, developing, and executing automated tests for RESTful APIs using the Rest Assured framework
- Experience in using build tools - Gradle, Maven
- Experience with Test Management Tools such as JIRA, Xray etc.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman and Hoppscotch is a plus
- Good Knowledge on self healing & AI Technologies
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver
- Design and implement test cases based on product requirements and specifications
- Execute automated tests and analyze results
- Version upgrade of Test automation framework and fixing any vulnerability issues.
- Collaborate with product teams to understand Test automation requirement
- Contribute to improving the overall quality assurance process
