Deputy Manager - Supply Chain Analytics

A Supply Chain Analytics Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the analytical aspects of a company's supply chain operations. This role involves leveraging data analytics and advanced tools to improve supply chain performance, optimize processes, and make data-driven decisions that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase overall effectiveness. The manager works closely with various teams, including operations, logistics, procurement, and inventory management, to ensure seamless integration of supply chain strategies with business goals.

Key Responsibilities of a Supply Chain Analytics Manager:

1. Data Collection and Analysis:

   • Data Gathering : Collect and manage data from various sources within the supply chain, including inventory levels, transportation, demand forecasting, and supplier performance.
   • Data Analysis : Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that help improve supply chain processes. This may involve predictive analytics, statistical models, and data visualization.
   • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) : Define and track KPIs related to supply chain operations, such as order fulfillment rates, lead times, cost per unit, inventory turnover, and supplier performance.

2. Supply Chain Optimization:

   • Process Improvement : Identify inefficiencies in the supply chain and work with cross-functional teams to optimize operations. This can include reducing lead times, improving inventory management, and optimizing transportation routes.
   • Cost Reduction : Analyze costs across the supply chain and recommend strategies for cost savings, such as renegotiating supplier contracts, reducing waste, and improving labor productivity.
