Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Engineer to join our team for an exciting building construction project. The Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction activities on-site, with a focus on the execution of building construction projects, including finishes, reinforced cement concrete (RCC) work, and overall site operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to effectively manage site resources to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Execution & Site Supervision:

• Manage day-to-day construction activities, ensuring smooth execution of all phases of the building construction process.
• Supervise site workers and subcontractors, ensuring safety compliance and efficient work practices.
• Monitor construction progress to ensure that timelines and project schedules are met.
• Ensure all construction work is completed in accordance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

2. Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) Work:

• Supervise and oversee all RCC work, ensuring accurate mix design, pouring, curing, and quality control.
• Coordinate with the project manager and design team to ensure proper execution of structural elements like slabs, columns, beams, and foundations.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with approved RCC specifications.

3. Finishing Work:

• Supervise finishing work such as plastering, tiling, painting, and interior fit-out.
• Ensure that the finishing work meets high-quality standards and aligns with the project's design requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure the finishing work is completed as per the project schedule and specifications.

4. Quality Assurance & Control:

• Perform regular site inspections to monitor construction quality, resolve technical issues, and suggest corrective measures.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
• Manage quality control for materials, ensuring they meet required specifications and standards.

5. Coordination & Communication:

• Collaborate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and other engineers to ensure smooth coordination and resolve any on-site issues.
• Maintain detailed records of project activities, materials used, and work completed.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for senior management.

6. Resource Management:

• Monitor material and labor requirements, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Coordinate deliveries of construction materials and ensure they are used efficiently and in a timely manner.

7. Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance:

• Ensure the construction site complies with all safety and environmental standards.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and training to minimize workplace hazards.
• Ensure the proper use of PPE and enforce safety procedures.
