Job Description : Account Manager - Kolkata
- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager based in the Kolkata to join our team.
- This role is critical in driving growth through new business development, expanding current accounts, and collaborating with channel partners.
- The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the cybersecurity industry, with a focus on data security, and a proven track record in managing and developing relationships within Eastern India and Bangladesh for Accounts covering Government departments, Public sector Entity, Enterprises in East -large enterprises, and mid-market enterprises.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Identify and acquire new customers to drive business growth in line with assigned quotas.
- Account Management: Manage and grow existing accounts through proactive engagement and strategic planning.
- GTM Strategy Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive go-to-market (GTM) plan to achieve and exceed sales quotas.
- Customer Account Planning: Create and execute detailed account and opportunity plans to align with company goals and objectives.
- Collaboration and Engagement: Work effectively with internal teams, including Sales Engineers, Channel Partners, Solutions Sales Teams, and Executives, to ensure seamless account management and execution.
- CRM Utilization: Use the CRM system to manage the sales pipeline, accurately forecast opportunities, and ensure timely closure of deals.
- Channel Development: Drive revenue growth through effective channel strategies, developing partnerships with resellers and distributors to penetrate mid-market enterprises.
- Enterprise Sales Execution: Engage with C-level executives and decision-makers to close complex, high-value deals.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Industry Expertise: Proven sales experience in the cybersecurity industry; experience with data security solutions is highly preferred.
- Market Knowledge: Prior experience 10 years+ working with government, state enterprises, government-linked companies, large enterprises, and mid-market accounts in Eastern India and Bangladesh
- Channel & Partner Engagement: Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with channel partners and distributors.
- Enterprise Account Management: Experience managing large and mid-market enterprises.
- Proven Track Record: Consistent achievement of sales quotas and targets.
- Sales Skills: Strong analytical, forecasting, and deal management skills.
- Communication: Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to engage and partner effectively with internal sales resources, including Sales Engineers and Specialists.
