Job Title: Team Leader - OEM Marketing
Location: Pune/ Mumbai
Department: Sales & Marketing

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Team Leader - OEM Marketing to lead our OEM marketing team. The incumbent will be responsible for developing new customers through branch sales, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing strategic solutions to overcome them. The role requires monitoring and supporting the division sales team to achieve targets, assisting them and generating business opportunities by engaging with the branch sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development & Customer Acquisition.
    1. Identify and develop new OEM customers through branch and division sales teams.
    2. Analyse market trends and customer requirements to tailor marketing strategies.
    3. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key OEM clients.


  1. Sales Performance & Team Support
    1. Monitor and support the division sales team to achieve their sales targets.
    2. Provide training and guidance to new and underperforming engineers.
    3. Collaborate with branch sales teams to generate business opportunities for underperforming engineers.



  1. Strategic Planning & Problem Solving:
    1. Identify bottlenecks in the customer acquisition process and develop strategies to overcome them.
    2. Devise and implement strategies to enhance market penetration and business growth.



  1. Approvals & Product Positioning
    1. Obtain necessary approvals from various organizations for instrumentation products.
    2. Develop strategies to position instrumentation products effectively in the market.


  1. Sales Forecasting & Pipeline Management
    1. Establish a structured approach to monitor monthly and quarterly projections.
    2. Ensure a robust offer base to maintain consistent booking monthly.
    3. Track and analyse sales data to ensure target achievement and pipeline efficiency.




Key Skills & Competencies:
a) Strong leadership and team management skills.
b) Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
c) In-depth understanding of OEM sales, marketing, and business development.
d) Problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
e) Experience in obtaining product approvals and working with regulatory bodies.
f) Proficiency in sales forecasting and pipeline management.
g) Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.

Qualifications & Experience:
a) Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation/ Mechanical Engineering.
b) MBA (optional) with specialization in Sales & Marketing.
c) Minimum 8 years of experience in OEM Marketing & business development, or a related role.
d) Proven track record of managing and leading marketing & sales teams successfully.
