Deputy General Manager - MICE Operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Management: Oversee the planning and execution of MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) projects, ensuring that all events meet client objectives and budgetary constraints.
• Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions to enhance their experience.
• Vendor Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to secure the best rates and services for clients, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the department.
• Escalation Handling: Address and resolve escalations or conflicts that arise during project execution, ensuring client satisfaction and smooth operations.
• Market Analysis: Analyze industry trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for growth and innovation in MICE services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in MICE management or related roles.
• Proven track record of successfully managing MICE events at an international level.
• Strong leadership and team management experience.
