Take ownership and Independently handle P1 incident, P2 incidents and provide permanent fix or collaborate to fix the issue by root. Document the RCA in ticket management tool
Lead the shift. Accept L1s or site users. application users escalation.
Make sure no tickets or email request remain unattend at the end of shift
Lead the shift rollover to ensure smooth handover of open tickets, project work
Take ownership and Participate in weekend maintenance activity (rotational) , distribute change and ctask in L1. Lead the weekend maintenance activity
Take lead on implementing critical changes
Participate Collaborate with L1/Application support team/L3/managers to implement projects driven by L3/SPOC/Manager
Take the ownership of assigned site. Make sure that sites are well managed. Periodically communicate site IT manger and achieve best CSR 4 to 5
Make sure site maintenance performed in time and resource are well utilize, stored procedure are fine tune . Hardware sizing has been done property.
Reduce the SITE incident tickets and own the problem tickets
Support weekend activity in rotational basis.
The experience we re looking to add to our team:
Any Bachelor or Master degree in computer science and related field.
Must be a production SQL server database administrator with 6 to 8 years of experience in SQLSERVER 2019 and higher
Working knowledge in any ticketing tools like SNC. Well verse with Incident, Change, problem management
Good working experience in configuring, troubleshooting, managing AG, SQL Cluster, Replication, Reporting services (SSRS)
Working experience in SQL Version upgrade, Migration of SQL instance, SQL patching.
Working experience in disaster recovery of databases and trouble shooting connectivity issue , database suspect or corrupt issues
Working experience in database maintenance activity
Working experience in performance troubleshooting and fine tuning query
Working knowledge in SQL - Azure or AWS Cloud
Reducing incident count through problem ticket
Good communication skill , problem solving and good analytical skill. Collaborative team player
Rotational shifts (7am-4pm 2pm-11pm).
Good to have:
Working knowledge in PowerShell script, TSQL, stored procedure or any scripting language
Knowledge in automating process
