Job Description
- Develop new strategic alliances with key customers within the CEC (Communications, Enterprise and Cloud) marketplace.
- Research and recognize customers business strategy, future product plans, and expansion activities and align Flex resources were mutually beneficial.
- Define business priorities through a broad and far vision of their technology needs, to include initiating and managing business development activities that will strengthen, expand and drive market penetration.
- Collaborate with current customers in the development of new products and alternative go to market solutions and act as a focal point in delivering Flex s solutions which include concept development, industrial design, manufacturing, supply chain/logistics, services support and reverse logistics.
- Ability to work with internal teams and executive management as well as external customers to maximize mutual benefit.
- Represent Flex Ways of Working when interacting with internal & external contacts.
- Understanding of key financial metrics and capability to read P&L, balance sheets, ROI indicators, taking actions to meet customers needs and Flex targets.
- Ability to successfully influence senior level management, executives, and key clients.
- Able to travel up to 50% of the time.
Some of our preferred experiences:
- BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of experience working in business development in India / SEA
- Experience working within Manufacturing Industries (EMS , OEM or Contract Manufacturing)
- Financial acumen
- Knowledge of Strategic Selling techniques and ability to grow a pipeline of business within current and new accounts.
