Job Position Summary
Support Executive (Technical) in the Technical Department work closely with the DGM/AGM/Senior Managers/Managers (Technical) and as per their instructions carry out day to day work of the Department connected with a definite number of vessels assigned.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Technical Support: Aid customers and internal teams regarding technical issues related to products or services.
2. Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of company products, services, and technologies to effectively assist users.
3. Documentation and Reporting: Compile reports on common technical issues. To maintain a list of copies of all available drawings and manuals of all the vessels under his charge and ensure that they are properly stored and readily available when required. To compile all technical reports/forms as required by the respective Owners
4. Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with other departments such as Purchasing, QHSE, Tanker Operation, Manning & follow up on technical issues/challenges as assigned by his reporting managers. Collaborate with other support staff to resolve complex issues.
5. Escalation of Issues: Identify and escalate unresolved issues to senior technical staff or management when necessary.
Follow up on escalated issues to ensure timely resolution.
6. Quality Assurance: Adhere to company policies and procedures to maintain service quality. Participate in training sessions to improve technical knowledge and customer service skills.
7. Follow up with Buyer & Vessel if needed over short/wrong supply or inferior quality, coordinate with all stake holders.
Job Experience, Functional Knowledge and Qualifications
Any Engineering degree.
Prior experience in shipping and compliance monitoring is preferred.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and process complex data sets.
Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
Strong team player with a positive working attitude
