Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain custom scripts for Adobe InDesign to automate repetitive tasks. Collaborate with designers and developers to identify workflow challenges and propose solutions. Integrate InDesign with other Adobe Creative Suite tools and external data sources (e.g., XML, JSON). Create dynamic templates and style guides for efficient document production. Debug and optimize existing scripts for performance and compatibility. Provide technical support and training to team members on script usage.

Stay updated with Adobe InDesign scripting APIs and industry trends. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and its scripting APIs (JavaScript/ExtendScript). Strong knowledge of XML, JSON, and file integration with InDesign. Experience with scripting tools such as AppleScript or VBScript (preferred but not mandatory). Understanding of typography, layout design, and print production workflows. Familiarity with integrating InDesign with other tools or systems (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, DAMs, CMS platforms). Ability to troubleshoot and debug scripts effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with InDesign Server scripting. Familiarity with automation tools such as Adobe XD or Adobe Creative Cloud APIs. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for web integration tasks.
