About Flashaid:
We are a fast-growing health insurance startup committed to redefining the way people access and experience health insurance services. With a focus on customer-centric solutions and technology-driven processes, we aim to deliver efficient, transparent, and seamless health insurance solutions.
We are looking for a hands-on and growth-oriented Head of Operations to lead our end-to-end operations, build key partnerships, and drive excellence in claims, service delivery, and process management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Excellence:
- Oversee and manage claims processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Drive service delivery improvements across all operational tools and touchpoints.
- Streamline workflows and operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce turnaround time.
- Establish robust SOPs for end-to-end operational functions, ensuring scalability and reliability.
2. Partnerships Management:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with health insurance partners, ensuring alignment on goals and seamless collaboration.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with healthcare providers, including hospitals, diagnostic centers, and other service providers.
3. Leadership and Team Development:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a lean operations team to achieve high performance and accountability.
- Actively participate as a "foot soldier" in critical operations when necessary to ensure smooth execution.
- Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
4. Technology and Tools Integration:
- Collaborate with the technology team to enhance operational tools and implement automation for repetitive tasks.
- Leverage data and analytics to monitor performance, identify gaps, and drive data-driven decision-making.
5. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and compliance standards across all operations.
- Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in health insurance operations, with expertise in claims, service delivery, and process management.
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end operations in a health insurance company or a similar startup environment.
- Experience in working with industry leaders like HDFC Ergo, Acko, ICICI Lombard, or similar organizations is preferred.
Educational Background:
- A bachelor's degree in any discipline is required.
- BHMS or a medical background is an added advantage, bringing valuable healthcare insights to the role.
Skill Set:
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in operational tools and an aptitude for technology-driven solutions.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a "can-do" attitude, ready to roll up sleeves and work on the ground.
