Agile Business Analyst - Project Management (5-7 yrs)

Job Description :

The Agile Business Analyst will be a key player in ensuring our projects meet business objectives and deliver value to stakeholders.

You will work in a dynamic Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements, facilitate Agile practices, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

Requirements Elicitation and Analysis :

- Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

- Convert business needs into well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.

- Analyze current business processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement.

Agile Facilitation :

- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

- Assist in maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog in collaboration with product owners and stakeholders.

- Ensure that user stories meet the Definition of Ready and are effectively communicated to development teams.

Stakeholder Engagement :

- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and Agile teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals and requirements.

- Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and management.

Quality Assurance :

- Support the creation of test plans and scenarios to validate that solutions meet business requirements.

- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure that deliverables align with acceptance criteria.

Data Analysis and Reporting :

- Analyze business data to provide insights and recommendations that support decision-making and process improvements.

- Develop and present reports and dashboards to stakeholders to communicate findings and project status.

Continuous Improvement :

- Identify and recommend opportunities for process enhancements and best practices within the Agile framework.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and Agile methodologies to drive continuous improvement in practices.

Qualifications :

- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in an Agile environment.

- Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (JIRA, Confluence).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.

- Proficiency in creating detailed documentation, user stories, and process workflows.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Agile Business Analyst (CABA), or similar Agile certification
