About the Role :
We are seeking a dedicated Argo Analyst to join our IT Support team.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.
Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring system health, troubleshooting issues, and escalating incidents as necessary.
Responsibilities :
- Utilize monitoring tools (Splunk, OpenView, SolarWinds, RDP) to proactively monitor the health and performance of critical systems, networks, and applications.
- Identify and resolve potential issues before they impact end-users.
- Respond to and resolve incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
- Troubleshoot issues related to systems, networks, Active Directory, messaging, and cloud-based solutions.
- Escalate complex or critical issues to appropriate teams.
- Collaborate with teams to refine monitoring, troubleshooting, and escalation processes.
- Document and share knowledge to improve overall team efficiency.
- Adhere to IPG's Standard Policies and Procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service to end-users by addressing their IT-related inquiries and resolving issues.
- Assist the ESD team as needed.
- Participate in shift rotations and ensure effective handover of responsibilities.
- Document relevant information in the pass-down log.
Qualifications :
- Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in system and network monitoring.
- Proficiency in using monitoring tools (Splunk, OpenView, SolarWinds, RDP).
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, and applications.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
