Lead Developer - SAP FIN Module (3-6 yrs)

Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced SAP Finance Functional Consultant with expertise in the core SAP Finance modules (AP, AR, GL). The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing (unit, integration, and performance), documentation, and managing the interfaces for SAP Finance solutions, specifically using IDOCs. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless service delivery, excellent communication, and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Your contributions will be vital to maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of the SAP Finance processes.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP Finance Modules (AP/AR/GL) :

- Work closely with business teams to understand requirements and design SAP Finance solutions for Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).

- Configure, implement, and support SAP Finance modules (AP/AR/GL) to align with business needs.

- Troubleshoot issues and provide expert guidance on SAP Finance functionalities.

Testing (Unit/Integration/Performance) :

- Design, develop, and execute test plans for unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing in SAP Finance modules.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate the functionality and integration of SAP Finance solutions.

- Ensure that all changes, enhancements, or fixes go through appropriate testing phases and meet quality standards.

Documentation :

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for configuration, testing, and project workflows related to SAP Finance modules.

- Create and update user manuals, functional specifications, and technical documents.

- Ensure that all processes are well-documented for both internal use and client handover.

Interface Methods (IDOCs) :

- Manage and troubleshoot interface methods between SAP Finance modules and other systems, with a focus on IDOC processing.

- Ensure smooth data exchange through SAP IDOCs and integration points.

- Work with technical teams to configure, test, and maintain interfaces related to IDOCs and third-party integrations.

Service Delivery & Communication :

- Ensure the effective and timely delivery of SAP Finance services, adhering to service level agreements (SLAs).

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business users, technical teams, and vendors, to ensure requirements are clearly understood and met.

- Facilitate meetings and workshops to ensure alignment across teams and proper issue resolution.

Collaboration :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technical consultants, business analysts, project managers) to ensure smooth implementation and operation of SAP Finance solutions.

- Support end-users by providing training and troubleshooting issues related to SAP Finance processes.

Continuous Improvement :

- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in SAP Finance solutions and provide recommendations for enhancements.

- Stay current with SAP updates and new features to ensure the system remains optimized and efficient.

Requirements :

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience :

- Proven experience in SAP Finance modules, particularly Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).

- Experience with SAP testing processes (unit, integration, and performance testing).

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP interface methods, specifically IDOCs.

- Experience in SAP project implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

- Demonstrated ability to deliver SAP Finance projects within agreed timelines and quality standards.

Technical Skills :

- Strong knowledge of SAP Finance modules (AP/AR/GL).

- Hands-on experience with SAP IDOC processing and integration.

- Experience with SAP testing tools and techniques (e.g., SAP Solution Manager, HP ALM).

- Knowledge of SAP Fiori, SAP S/4HANA, or other SAP-related technologies is a plus.
