Area Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Visit assigned territory, including stores and grocery markets, to establish and manage dealer and distributor relationships.
• Assign dealers and distributors to the company.
• Place orders and drive the sales process, ensuring revenue targets are met.
• Maintain strong dealer relationships and support their sales efforts.
• Perform daily territory visits, closing sales, and reporting sales activities to the companys systems.
• Revisit dealers weekly to follow up on orders and track performance.
• Manage sales and marketing tasks to increase company presence in the territory.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience in sales or a similar field, preferably in territory or area sales management.
• Strong background in sales, marketing, and dealer/distributor management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Negotiation expertise with a focus on closing deals.
• Ability to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with dealers and distributors.
• Goal-oriented, with a track record of generating revenue and meeting sales targets.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage a defined area effectively.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with reporting systems.
