Job Description

This position is for Mainframe Developer. The role requires an experienced, high caliber mainframe developer with good functional and technical engineering skills/ product knowledge to work with business stakeholders and key suppliers to deliver change to agreed time, quality, and cost parameters.

What you bring:

Knowledge / Experience

Mandatory 10 years of experience in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS in Mainframe application development with good grasp in mainframe tools
Must have good knowledge on Banking/ Lending Domain
Systematics ALS experience would be an added advantage.
On-call production support experience would be an added advantage, but not essential to the role.
Agile Scrum experience would be an added advantage.
Willing to work in Bangalore.
Experienced with all major development and delivery phases and activities.
Has participated in the full spectrum of delivery activities on multiple development projects.
Graduate from Technical background with positive attitude, self-starting, motivated quick learner qualities
Sound logical reasoning design experience with good troubleshooting skills is required.
Ability to explore new age technology improvement/ automation is desirable.

Strong analytical skill
Excellent communication skill
Practical experience in Banking/Lending Domain

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent.

Competencies

Ability to discuss process issues, concerns with onshore counterparts and get it resolved.
