Role Description
Java Developer
Purpose of the role
To analyse, design, build and deploy software solutions within agreed measures as part of the FMS Development Team.

Build, support and maintain FMS software
implement solutions based on business/technical requirements/designs
Investigate issues
Communicate regularly with Analysts, Developers and Testers to verify and validate solutions
Support code during testing phases by resolving defects as a priority
Utilise agreed software development processes

Education requirements
Degree in Computer Science or other IT related discipline
Java certification preferred

3+ years solid experience in Java EE, JSP/Servlets, Web Services, SQL, XML, JSON, HTML, CSS
Object-oriented analysis and common design patterns
Solid understanding of the software development process
Excellent written and verbal skills
Able to communicate complex issues in a clear and concise manner
