Job Description
Finpower Aircon is looking for CNC Machine Operator to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey.
- A CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine operator is responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines used in manufacturing and production processes
- CNC machines are automated tools that use computer programming to control the movement and operation of cutting tools or other devices
- Here are some key responsibilities and tasks associated with the role of a CNC machine operator:Machine Setup: Preparing and setting up the CNC machine for operation
- This includes loading the necessary tools, workpieces, and materials onto the machine, as well as securing them in place
- Programming: Loading or inputting the appropriate computer programs or instructions into the CNC machine
- This involves understanding and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, or design specifications, and translating them into machine-readable code
- Machine Operation: Operating the CNC machine to perform specific tasks, such as cutting, drilling, milling, or shaping materials
- The operator monitors the machine's operation, adjusts settings as necessary, and ensures the accuracy and quality of the finished products
- Tool Maintenance: Inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining the cutting tools and machine accessories
- This includes replacing dull or worn-out tools, performing routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring that the tools are in good working condition
- Quality Control: Conducting regular inspections and quality checks to verify that the machined parts or products meet the required specifications and standards
- This involves using measuring instruments, such as calipers or micrometers, to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues or malfunctions that may arise during machine operation
- This includes diagnosing problems, making adjustments or corrections, and ensuring the machine operates safely and efficiently
