Tech Finelabs - Technical Writer (4-8 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer to create and maintain high-quality documentation for our Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and security experts to develop comprehensive user guides, white papers, API documentation, and other technical resources. Your expertise will help users effectively leverage our CSPM tools and enhance their cloud security.

Key Responsibilities :

Content Creation :

- Develop clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation, including user manuals, implementation guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides for CSPM products.

- Write API documentation, SDK references, and integration guides for developers and IT professionals.

- Create engaging content for blogs, white papers, and case studies related to cloud security and compliance.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with product managers, developers, and cloud security teams to understand product features, updates, and best practices.

- Participate in product demos and feature discussions to gather insights for documentation.

Content Maintenance :

- Regularly update and revise documentation to reflect new features, updates, and changes in CSPM technology.

- Ensure all documentation adheres to branding, style guides, and technical accuracy.

Technical Research :

- Stay updated on the latest CSPM tools, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and industry standards (e.g., NIST, CIS benchmarks).

- Analyze user feedback to identify documentation gaps and improve clarity and usability.

Tool and Content Management :

- Utilize content management systems (CMS), wikis, and version control tools like Git to manage documentation efficiently.

- Leverage diagrams, screenshots, and visuals to enhance technical content.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Experience :

- 5+ years of technical writing experience in cybersecurity, cloud computing, or software domains.

- Previous experience writing about CSPM solutions or related technologies is highly desirable.

Technical Knowledge :

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.

- Understanding of security frameworks, compliance requirements, and best practices (e.g., CIS, NIST, ISO 27001).

- Experience with APIs, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.

Writing and Communication :

- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise language for various audiences.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Tools :

- Proficiency in documentation tools like Markdown, Confluence, Madcap Flare, or similar platforms.

- Familiarity with diagramming tools like Lucid chart, Visio, or draw.io.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working in an Agile development environment.

- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

- Certifications in cloud security or platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer).
