Job Title: Senior Finance Accountant

Location: Pune, Maharashtra

Job Type: Full-Time

Timing:U.S EST (6:30PM-3:30AM)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and Provident Fund regulations, as well as hands-on experience in Indian accounting practices. This role requires a proactive individual willing to travel to government offices and CA offices when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle GST filings, TDS computations and filings, Professional Tax, and Provident Fund compliance.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in line with Indian accounting standards.
• Liaise with government departments, auditors, and Chartered Accountants as required.
• Ensure timely compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in audits and prepare necessary financial reports.
• Conduct regular reviews of financial systems and implement improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Finance and accounting
• Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws including GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and Provident Fund.
• Proven hands-on experience in Indian accounting and bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Language Requirement: Must be fluent in Marathi and English.
• Location Requirement: Must be a resident of Pune, Maharashtra.

• Willingness to travel locally to government offices and CA offices as needed.
