Job Description

The FIS Australasia technology team is made up of 50+ people. There is also a support team based in Manila who take care of patching, certificates, level 1 on call, user management as well as more complex system administration tasks.

What you will be doing

Standardized Splunk agent deployment, configuration and maintenance across a variety of UNIX and Windows platforms.
Experience with Splunk Searching and Reporting, Knowledge Objects administration, Clustering and Forwarder Management.
Support Splunk on Unix, Linux and Windows-based platforms

What you bring:

5+ years of working experience with Splunk Enterprise.
Should be Splunk Certified Admin
Working experience with small/medium Splunk deployments. The small scale is
Ability to develop use cases in the said deployments for search and ingest operations.
Ability to understand customers requirements.
Ability to strike a rapport with the customer and win their trust on Technical merit.
Basic understanding of networks, and OS.
Ability to quickly explore, examine and understand problems and how it relates to the customer s business.
Experience with both the Unix and Windows operating systems; comfortable with the command-line interface.
Ability to stop, collaborate and listen to technical and non-technical consumers from application developers to executive-level partners.
Self-motivated and self-educating, always interested in keeping up with technology and improving oneself.
