Job Description
- Managing key monthly deliverables for Investment Management business covering areas like Equity, Fixed Income, Real Estate & Multi-Asset, Private Assets etc. including cost reporting, headcount reporting, projections, accruals, sub-advisory forecasts and allocations across Europe and Asia; ensuring all standard deliverables are turned out on time, to a consistently high quality as well as ensuring ad hoc deliverables are turned out to expectation or higher in a timely manner
- Performing asset reconciliation and maintaining / reviewing the cost of Investment Management model;
- Designing and delivering the Investment Management franchise view of FIL s P&L and automating its production; running cost and allocation models for its delivery.
- Managing the Investment Management structure in various systems and keeping abreast of organizational changes;
- The preparation of budgets/ forecasts based on discussions with business heads and ensuring accurate & timely submissions;
- Identifying, designing and implementing process improvement initiatives for increased efficiency.
- Providing input to the relevant Global Process Owners (GPO) to create efficiencies through cross-region process standardization;
- Working with global business finance teams (based in UK, Europe, Asia and India) to facilitate integration across various groups;
- Working on key initiatives / ad hoc data requests based on business requirements.
- Working on one of the important KPI of Net sales and revenue by PM
- Will be involved in the IM Project, focusing on automation and creating efficiencies primarily on the franchise view of P&L
- Responsible for maintaining a constructive and professional relationship with similar onshore grade levels as well as other key onshore and offshore stakeholders.
About you
- A qualified accountant/MBA with minimum 7-10 years experience.
- Experience of FP&A / business finance roles (including deep experience of MI, forecasting, business case evaluation and provision of financial analysis) would be a significant advantage.
- Experience of the asset management industry would be an advantage.
- Highly accomplished writing skills and experience of writing financial commentary for senior stakeholder consumption.
- High level of attention to detail yet also able to see the big picture.
- Strong analytical skills, proven ability to assimilate large and complex data sets and distill and articulate key facts or themes for senior management consideration.
- Pro-active self-starter, able to multi-task and prioritise under pressure.
- Collaborative operating style with a focus on working together with others to achieve great outcomes for the business as well as recognition for all those contributing to the team s success.
- Able to command high levels of respect from stakeholders and peers.
- Knowledge of Essbase, CFP, HFM, OBIEE, Tableau, Power BI and Anaplan would be an advantage.
