Role & responsibilities

1. Keep accurate records of all incoming materials, including quantity, specifications, and any other relevant details.

2. Ensure timely entry of incoming materials into the system/database.

3. Coordinate with the production department to fulfill their material requirements promptly.

4. Ensure that materials are issued based on the production request and in accordance with established procedures.

5. Conduct regular assessments of material levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.

6. Set and maintain minimum stock levels to ensure continuous production without interruptions.

7. Prepare accurate and comprehensive monthly reports on closing stock and material consumption.

8. Analyse these reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.

9. Implement effective inventory control measures to optimize stock levels and minimize holding costs.

10. Evaluate and select appropriate inventory management tools and technologies.

Preferred candidate profile

Educational qualification: Any bachelors degree

Industry : Any Manufacturing/process Industry

Years of Experience : 4 to 6 years

Reporting to: Store In-charge

Location : Bangalore (Chintamani Road)
