Deputy Project Manager (Water Supply Project)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assisting the Project Manager:
   
• Help plan, coordinate, and oversee project activities.
• Ensure that the project stays on schedule, within scope, and within budget.

1. Team Coordination:
   
• Supervise and coordinate teams of engineers, technicians, and workers involved in the water supply project.
• Ensure effective communication between different departments.

1. Project Monitoring and Reporting:
   
• Monitor progress, quality, and safety standards to ensure the project complies with regulations.
• Provide regular updates and reports to the Project Manager and project status, challenges, and milestones.

1. Budget and Resource Management:
   
• Assist in preparing and managing budgets, controlling costs, and ensuring that resources (equipment, materials, and manpower) are properly allocated.
2. Risk Management:
   
• Identify potential risks to the project timeline, costs, and quality.
• Develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with the Project Manager.
4. Quality Control:
   
• Ensure that the work complies with all local and international water supply standards and regulations.
• Monitor and enforce quality control processes throughout the project phases.
5. Problem-solving:
   
• Resolve any technical or logistical issues that may arise during the course of the project.
6. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:
   
• Promote a culture of safety and ensure all aspects of the water supply project comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: A degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources, or a related field.
