Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient and automated software delivery.
• Configuration Management:
• Ensure tools and cloud platforms (like Databricks) are up to date so the team can leverage the latest features and adopt best practices as recommended by the vendors.
• Containerization:
• Implement and manage containerization solutions with Docker.
• Monitoring and Logging:
• Set up and maintain monitoring and logging systems for proactive issue detection and resolution.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration of new features and releases.
• Set up dev tools (linters, formatters, test frameworks etc.) for the team to increase code maintainability and testability, increasing team productivity as a whole
• Work closely with DSEA leaders to make high-level architecture decisions to ensure the scalability of the DSEA team and its technology.
• Security:
• Implement and maintain security best practices for infrastructure and applications.
• Work with IT/Infosec while overseeing compliance & security items for the DSEA team, ensuring we are operating up to the standards the IT/Infosec team has set.
• Automated Testing:
• Collaborate with QA teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Ruby.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker,ECS).
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, and Docker Certified Associate.
• Experience with serverless architecture.
