Sql Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a SQL Developer to join our team and focus on creating efficient, scalable, and secure database solutions. The primary responsibility will be to develop and optimize stored procedures to support API integrations for our front-end applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in query optimization, memory/resource management, and database development. Additionally, the candidate should have robust experience in DDL, DML, ETL processes, and data governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain efficient stored procedures to interact with APIs supporting front-end applications.
• Ensure database performance by effectively managing memory, resources, and query optimization.
• Collaborate with front-end and API development teams to design and implement database solutions.
• Build and maintain database structures, including schemas and data models, to support business requirements.
• Work on DDL and DML tasks, ensuring robust and consistent database operations.
• Design, develop, and execute ETL processes for data integration and transformation.
• Implement and enforce data governance best practices to ensure data integrity and security.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for database-related issues.
• Stay updated with emerging trends in SQL Server and database technologies.

Technical Skills:

• MS SQL Server: Expert-level skills in writing and optimizing complex queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Query Optimization: Strong knowledge of indexing, execution plans, and performance tuning.
• ETL Processes: Experience designing and maintaining ETL pipelines for efficient data movement and transformation.
• Data Governance: Familiarity with implementing policies and procedures to ensure data quality and compliance.
• API Integration: Ability to design and support databases that work seamlessly with RESTful APIs.
• Data Structures & Warehousing: Knowledge of data architecture, warehousing, and schema design is a plus.
