Position Title:
Sales Representative - B2B Business (Food and Nutrition Raw Material Supplier)
Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our team in the B2B sector, specializing in supplying raw materials to businesses in the food and nutrition industries. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the food and nutrition market, coupled with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strategic approach to sales, and the ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Business Development: Identify and target prospective clients within the food and nutrition industry. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand our customer base and increase market penetration.
2. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and needs in a timely and professional manner.
3. Product Knowledge and Presentation: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of our product offerings and their applications within the food and nutrition sector. Present products to clients in a compelling manner, highlighting their features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
4. Market Analysis and Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth, differentiation, and innovation.
5. Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports, detailing sales activity, pipeline status, and revenue projections. Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
6. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Marketing, R&D, and Supply Chain, to align sales strategies with organizational objectives. Work collaboratively to optimize product offerings, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
7. Trade Shows and Events: Represent the company at industry trade shows, exhibitions, and events. Engage with potential clients, showcase products, and network with industry professionals to generate leads and drive sales growth.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably within the food and nutrition industry. • Strong understanding of raw materials used in food and nutrition products.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel as needed
