Job Description
Design and development of steering & Front Axle for Heavy Commercial Vehicles
On time support on Design Issues Resolution and Proactive design approach
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, Development and Evaluation of steering & Front Axle Development of Design Concepts
- Drawing preparation & Documentation release
- Derivation of Design calculation & Packaging study
- Should have line diagram knowledge and interaction with supplier
- Supporting Proto/Testing team in Fitment and Validation Activities
- Good understanding of engineering drawing standards, GD&T and tolerance stack- up.
- Check part product failure; Failure modes and prepare DFMEA.
- Participate & resolve issues in DFM/ DFS/ DFA/ DFMEA.
- Metal pipe and nylon hose routing knowledge
CAD Proficiency and Computer Skills:
- Solid Modelling and Assembly modelling in Catia & Solid works
- Drafting 2D drawing preparation, Assembly drawing & Installation drawing preparation
- Proficiency in PLM tools & MS Office
Soft Skills
- Co creation with Internal and External Stakeholders
- Time management and Reporting skills
- High Intercultural sensitivity and Agility
- Flexible within the team to achieve Organizational goals with driven to win attitude
