Job Description

We are actively seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to manage import documentation processes at our Mumbai corporate office. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of import customs regulations and procedures, be detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is an urgent opening for a highly organized and time-conscious individual.

Key responsibilities

Prepare, verify, and manage all necessary documentation required for import shipments.
Ensure compliance with customs rules, regulations, and procedures.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs notifications, duties, and taxes applicable to imports.
Coordinate with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure timely clearance of goods.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to documentation or customs clearance.

Requirements

Graduate degree
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Strong understanding of import customs documentation, rules, and regulations
Minimum 5 years of experience in the import division, specifically in customs documentation
G Card holder preferred
Must live close to a metro station for easy commuting
Aged in their 30s, with a strong work ethic, workaholic attitude, and time management skills

Full-time position based in Mumbai

Competitive salary, 20% above current CTC
