Position Overview:

At FedEx GDX, a data analyst is a pivotal member of the core analytics team or a Domain analytics team, specializing in extracting actionable insights from diverse datasets to inform strategic decision-making. Collaborating closely with analytics engineers, their primary responsibility is to answer complex business questions through in-depth analyses and the construction of informative dashboards. This involves synthesizing data from various sources, working in tandem with analytics engineers to ensure the efficient transformation and preparation of data for meaningful analysis.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly accurate and efficient Data Analyst (OSV) to perform data configuration tasks, maintain data integrity, and support global pricing teams in other ad-hoc asks. The ideal candidate will have excellent data management skills (excel / SQL), good data analysis skills (Python), strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. *Data Configuration*: Accurately and efficiently configuring data into various enterprise systems, ensuring timely and error-free processing.

2. *Data Integrity*: Verify and validate data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, ensuring data quality and integrity.

3. *Pricing Stakeholder Support*: Provide data-driven analysis and insights and support to the pricing teams, enabling informed decision-making.

4. *Reporting and Analytics*: Generate reports and analytics to support business intelligence and optimization initiatives.

5. *Process Improvement*: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.

6. *Compliance*: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, ensuring data security and compliance.
