Job Description
- Establishing the Data Governance policy & process in the project based on HIPAA rules.
- Establishing Data Governance policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
- Designing the Data Governance Solution and Framework.
- Overseeing Data Governance program end to end implementation
- Define the metrics on data quality and ensure the metrics are met on periodically.
- Supporting data quality issue analysis and remediation for strategic data.
- Conducting audits to ensure that policies, procedures and metrics are in place for maintaining/improving the program.
- Focusing on consistent protection/classification of data by data classification (confidential, public, internal use).
- Technical handling of data to meet data classification requirements.
- Assuring that sensitive data, regardless of format, is protected at all times by only using approved equipment, networks, and other controls.
- Ensuring that all strategic data is modeled, named, and defined consistently.
- Ensuring that metadata critical to data governance is included in the metadata resource and is accessible.
- Define the reports as needed as per policies & procedures.
- Provide the required trainings to the teams on data governance.
- Sound experience in implementing the data governance models.
- Sound experience on data analysis using the SQL Server especially with healthcare domain.
- Sound experience on data transformations implementations based on the business policies.
- Source experience in implementing data availability, data archiving process."
